Betsy Gill - Living With Art

The Atelier Gallery is proud to present Living with Art, a solo exhibition by abstract painter and found art creator Betsy Gill (@betsy.gill). On display from now through June 25, the collection bridges her Orbriant series—textured, gestural white paintings that explore the movement of energy in the universe—with curated found art installations. Her practice focuses deeply on the intersection of fluid abstract expression and found art created in a minimal, intentional way.

After spending most of her life in Colorado, Betsy decided it was time for a new adventure and snow-free winters, and has recently found her creative home in a studio right here at the Atelier in Midtown Sacramento. In her found art pieces, she loves highlighting the extraordinary in things that would often be overlooked or discarded, using them to create work that is unexpected, humorous, and joyful.

We invite you to join us for the celebration of her reception for Living with Art by Betsy which will include an art activation by Liz Awesome and live music by Mickey Abbey and friends.

Opening Reception:
When: Saturday, June 13 | 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Where: The Atelier Gallery, 2118 19th Street, Sacramento, CA
