In order to support independent Artists, Makers, and Creators, the Atelier will be transforming its gallery walls into a retail space for selected Artists to exhibit and sell their work. The walls will be divided into twenty six (26) total 46” x 48”, 48” x 48”, and 37.5” x 48”’ gallery squares for artists to display and sell as much of their work as possible. Our primary goal is to promote and support Sacramento’s Arts Economy by encouraging folx to gift Art by providing an accessible marketplace of affordable, quality artworks.
Qualifications
- 18+
- Enough Inventory of Artwork to Support Weekly(+) Re-Stocks during the run of the exhibition
- Live within 1 hour of travel time from the Atelier (2118 19th St. Sacramento, CA)
Media Accepted
- All media considered.
- Art work must be able to “bag and go” upon sale (including all certificates of Authenticity, artist info etc.)
Requirements
- Priced under $500
- Work must be no larger than 35” x 44” x 16”
- Must be wall mountable / Ready to Hang. If 3D work, Artist is responsible for providing an appropriate hanging system or shelving within the size restrictions
- Artists must Install & De-Install their own Art
Fine Print
- Entry Fee: $5
- Work will be Juried by Atelier Curator to fill the 26 Exhibition Sales Spaces
- Atelier will process sales, provide wrapping materials, and bags
- Commission: 0% for Atelier Residents, 15% for Atelier Members, 25% for non-members + Processing Fees
