Sacramento Homeschool Art Club

Art History Meets Creative Expression

Welcome to a homeschool art program where academic learning meets professional artistic practice. Homeschoolers will spend 35+ minutes each session looking at and discussing artists, styles, movements, and creative practices with opportunities to engage with local Professional Artists, play gallery games, and develop social-emotional skills.

The remaining time will be spent in our Play Atelier where students participate in free-choice art making to explore and express what they are learning in their own unique artistic style.

Social-Emotional Growth

Our curriculum is designed to help students develop social-emotional skills through Creative Play. We use gallery games and group discussions to foster connection, proving that art is a community experience, not just a solitary one.

Process Over Product

We celebrate the Creative Process instead of just the end product. We teach students that working through the struggle is where the Art happens, helping them build resilience and confidence in their unique style.
